My girlfriend has been trying to convince me to consider relocating to Portland… and it’s this kind of news that makes me think it might be worthwhile. I started bar crawling in Philly looking for good microbrews when I first moved back home in the spring. There have been a few really good ones (to include an oatmeal stout that nearly made me cry two weeks ago) but in my heart I know I’ll run out of new drafts soon and have to return to bottle hunting. Maybe I’ll have to cash in these frequent flier miles to check it out.
Have you seen mugwarrior.com? They could use a lady on the team… not to mention a writer who lives somewhere other than Philly…

Too bad everybody in Ptown that I know only drinks PBR… Portland’s a great beer town going to waste, I say!
