Unequivocal signs
I think I owe y’all an apology for my ravings late last week. Those of you who know me personally know that I don’t hate men, I don’t really believe they are all liars, and I’m not overly consumed (at the moment, anyway) with meeting a guy at a bar. I realize though that there are people who read this site who don’t know me all that well and might be a.) worried about my current mental state or b.) disgusted at my boy-related angst and self-involved rantings. If it’s a., please don’t worry, I’m fine. If it’s b., screw you.
I had a good weekend: I met a cute boy whom I have no interest in dating but enjoyed talking to immensely; I helped my sister find a really cool apartment, which just happens to be in the same complex where I first lived when I moved back to the Seattle area almost seven years ago; I got a new hand lotion that fits in my purse (never underestimate the comfort of well moisturized hands); Mark Antony is finally on his way to Greece to help Caesar kick some Pompeian ass on “Rome“; and as I looked out my window this morning, I noticed that the Olympics got snow. They look lovely. And that makes it officially fall, as far as I’m concerned.
Oh, and, my new computer should be here tomorrow. All, it seems, is right in the world.

Glad to know that you are mentally well. Although , I never thought you weren’t.
Hand lotion? Hmmm! Is there a story here.

Hmmm, are there other options besides a & b? I’m going to go on record as thinking…c) you’re just a smart, cool “girl” trying to figure out this crazy mixed up world of boys and dating.
As a man Badger, you might not be aware of the fairer sex’s obsession with hand lotion. I’ve observed them passing around the table and can attest to the fact that there’s nothing kinky going on.

Amen, sister friend.

How could anyone underestimate the importance of hand lotion, let alone lotion packaged in a tube that fits in your purse?!?! I belive Miss Hickopolis knows just how important this is to me. Amen indeed. And hallelujah for Fall. In October, the best month ever cuz summer is so overoverover, everything is always right with the world (but cute boys and new computers always help).

Admin, there goes another fantasy down the tubes. Lucky for me they just keep coming.
