Ways to annoy me

One of the most sure fire ways to piss me off is to park your ginormous SUV in the spot next to me clearly marked “COMPACT.” This happens to me at work, it happens to me at the grocery store. It makes it nearly impossible for me to get into my car. It seems to me we need a little re-education on the word “compact.”

My car, a VW GTI, is compact. Minis? Yes, compact. Subaru Outbacks? Debatable, but I’m leaning toward compact. Honda Civics, yes. Honda Accords, maybe not. Trucks? NO. SUVs? Never. Your Hummer? What makes you think I won’t cut you?

I’m not even in a bad mood. The sun is shining, work is awesome right now, I slept really well last night. But I swear, the next SUV that parks next to me in a compact spot and forces me to get into my car via the passenger-side door is getting fucking KEYED.

    LOL!

Hell I drive a truck and this happens to me all of the time! As a rule, i always make sure that the person I am parking next to has enough room. I keep it in the lines. Now I don’t think my truck is huge, single cab, short bed, gmc sierra. Last time this happened to me, it was a HUGE expedition and the guy parked over the line into my space. I could not even fit between the two cars….. and … yes… i keyed him 🙁

[…] Remember my post a few weeks ago about giant SUVs that park in compact spots? Apparently, I’m not alone in my pissed off-edness about this. […]
