I first heard about this idea from a friend who dates a British guy. Apparently, ICE originated in Cambridge and, though it’s brilliant, I feared it would never catch on stateside. How wrong I was!

So, to give you and your loved ones a little peace of mind, program ICE into your phone along with the number of your “in case of emergency” contact person. Mom, best friend, boyfriend, therapist, etc. Do it now.
