I really don’t wanna get all geezery on your ass and start ranting about the pending downfall of our society and its antecedent in the laziness and stupidity of the American Youth (by the way, the preceding introduction is usually a sign that I’m about to anyway), but I can’t help but think that the fact that this and this are news in the same two-day span is NOT a coincidence.

And call me crazy, but I don’t think Miss South Carolina’s idea of increasing the amount of geography education in our nation’s schools is going to help improve SAT scores. Poor thing.
