BFE told me about this blog a few weeks ago, and then again last week when I was telling her about how I’ve decided the only way to keep grounded in the life I’ve spent the last ten years creating for myself while working for The Man is to date an indie rock boy. BFE and I have started referring to this theoretical being as “Nathan,” after the Kings of Leon drummer, and one other guy with whom I have a little infatuation.

I’m still on the hunt for the perfect blend of messy hair, good shoes, exquisite taste in music, and absolute dedication to subverting the dominant paradigm. In the meantime, Miss Lawyer is keeping me sane while I park amongst Lexuses (Lexi?) and attend wine-tasting events.
