Hoops
My high school alma mater is in the state basketball tourney this weekend. I’ve been following the action thus far on this blog.
So far, I have two favorite posts:
1. The one about the lone cheerleader. Poor thing.
2. The one that shows the picture of how many Northwest Christian High fans showed up for their first game. Please note the guy juuuussssst about to scratch his balls. Nice.

The Girl knows I heart cheerleaders and to hear of this one lonely girl is breaking my little cheerleading-loving heart–although she looks pretty chipper in her pic. Man, I thought it was sad that my high school only had four cheerleaders!

My high school had a large squad of cheer leaders – who niether led nor cheered. Mostly a bunch of overweight guys and girls in sweats who sat in the front row during games and got out of classes. It wouldn’t have been so humorous except that the team went all state my Senior year – and while the other team played to the orchastrated cheers of their fans our cheerleaders still mostly sat in the front row and ate hot dogs.

So. mostly, the cheerleaders at Brian’s Highschool just loved th coordinated little outfits!
